Designed to reduce the appearance of uneven pigmentation and dark spots, the Dermaceutic Mela Cream utilises a cocktail of 9 highly concentrated active ingredients. The Dermaceutic Mela Cream uses ingredients which inhibit the growth of melanin and aims to reduce skin pigmentation.

- Inhibits transfers of melanin and helps reduce pigmentation
Main ingredients:
- Niacinamide: Inhibits the transfer of melanosomes and reduces redness in the skin.
- Retinol: An anti-ageing ingredient that increases collagen production, reduces the signs of photoageing and improves skin texture.
- Mandelic acid and salicylic acid: This combination of AHA and BHA helps break down the cells in the outer layer of the skin.
- Phytic acid: This AHA ingredient brightens the complexion.
- Licorice extract: Lightens the skin and boosts skin radiance.
- Kojic acid: Reduces signs of sun damage, age spots and scarring.
- Arbutin: Arbutin suppresses the melanin in the skin, and combats pigment in the skin caused by sun damage.
After cleansing with your favourite cleanser, apply a very small amount at night on the affected areas.
Start with one or two applications per week and increase slowly. On any sign of irritation reduce the frequency of use until skin acclimates.
You should discontinue use if you experience side effects such as red rash or bumps, itching, pain, blisters and dry, red patches of skin.
For the first 2/3 weeks of application, blemishes can be transitory darkened due to the cleansing action on the skin. Use it for 3 months to see best results.
Use sunscreen in the day time for optimal results.
