Experience the gentle yet powerful benefits of lymphatic drainage massage—a specialised technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, helping flush toxins, reduce fluid retention, and enhance circulation for a radiant, refreshed complexion. This deeply therapeutic treatment supports immune function, promotes de-puffing and contouring, and aids in skin healing—making it the perfect complement to your skincare and wellness routine. Whether you're looking to detox, reduce swelling, or boost skin vitality, lymphatic massage offers visible results with a light, rhythmic touch that encourages relaxation and rejuvanation.
The Lymphatic System relies on pressure, movement, and muscle contractions to circulate fluid around the body. MLD is a massage technique that uses light rhythmic movements to stimulate the lymphatic system and encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid.
The original method of MLD was developed in France in the 1930s by Emil and Estrid Vodder.
The Brazilian method combines traditional LDM techniques with contouring and myofascial release to address bloating, puffiness, and water retention, reduce the appearance of cellulite, and revitalise the body and mind

Preparing for your treatment
In order to maximise the benefits of your Brazilian Lymph Drainage Massage, there are a few key steps to take prior to your appointment.
Hydrate: Hydrating before your treatment can facilitate lymphatic drainage and enhance your body’s detoxification process. Aim to drink at least 2 litres of water on the day of your massage.
Eat Light: Avoid consuming a heavy meal prior to your treatment. You might experience discomfort during the abdominal manipulation if your stomach is full. Opt for a light meal or snack instead.
Comfortable Attire: Dress in loose, comfortable clothing.
**Please arrive five to ten minutes early to your appointment to discuss any questions you may have related to BLDM. Also get you comfy on the bed before treatment time.
Post treatment recommendations
To ensure the lasting benefits of your BLMD and to promote optimal healing and recovery, there are some important recommendations to follow post-treatment.
Avoid Alcohol: Alcohol can dehydrate the body and slow down the detoxification process. So, it’s best to avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours after your massage.
Limit Carbohydrate and Sugar Intake: High-sugar and carbohydrate-rich foods can increase inflammation in the body, which can in turn hinder the lymphatic system’s functionality. Focus on consuming a balanced diet rich in lean proteins, fruits, and vegetables.
Stay Hydrated: Continue drinking plenty of water to aid the lymphatic system in flushing out toxins from the body.
Remember, the goal of the post-treatment care is to support and maintain the benefits of the massage and to aid the body’s natural healing processes. Going for a walk or having a sauna is highly recommended.
